Good energy commissioned Skeye to capture stunning images on the ground and in the air , using a drone, for their new wind turbine field project based at Hampole, Doncaster. Skeye produced both time-lapse, aerial photographs and video of the new installation of the wind turbines. The video below uses our footage combined with footage from others to produce a stunning promotional video for Good Energy. The site has a total of 4 turbines and is expected to generate 20,000MWh a year having the capacity to power 4000-5000 homes. The project was produced with a minimal carbon footprint by sourcing local wind turbines and contractors. The project was completed on time with careful planning between all companies involved. Ed Miliband, MP for Doncaster North, and a former energy secretary, has said that Britain should “embrace” onshore wind farms because they can “make a difference.” One such way they do this is through enabling people to play a part in encouraging and developing innovative projects. Skeye is proud to have been part of this project. The project was flown using two of Skeye’s drones, the TBS Discovery and the DJI 800 EVO.
