In opdracht van de Angolese overheid voerde Skeye een project uit met een onbemand vliegtuig. Doel van het project was het in kaart brengen van een grote kuststrook van ongeveer 20 km2 bij de stad Luanda.

Meer dan 130 grondcontrolepunten werden ingemeten voor aanvang van de luchtfoto-opnamen. Hiervoor is een GPS basisstation opgezet op het dak van een hotel om de GPS correcties real time te kunnen doorsturen. Met het Bird-Eye onbemande vliegtuig werden ruim 12.000 foto’s gemaakt op een hoogte van 120 meter in 30 verschillende vluchten.

Om alle beelden te kunnen verwerken is een super PC aangeschaft maar ook deze computer had nog bijna twee weken nodig om alle beelden te verwerken tot een hoogtemodel en onderleggerbeelden (orthofotomozaieken).
